Milenko the Cat

Welcome to the web page of my cat, Milenko. Named after the magical genie of Insane Clown Posse legend, this cat is completely nuts. When I first got him, he was given to me along with warnings from the owner of his mother. Of course, in my opinion, the more psychotic an animal is, the more character it has.. Thus, that is how I came into the guardianship of Milenko.

**NEW!!** Sometimes Milenko will stick his tongue out and forget that he's doing it. Click here to watch a funny M-JPG video of Milenko with his tongue sticking out.

When I first met Milenko, he was just a small fuzzy ball of fur, roughly the same color as he is now. He was yowling his fool head off, but calmed down as soon as I started petting him. Shortly thereafter, he grew accustomed to his new living arrangements. He is a very smart cat, learning quickly what he is allowed/not allowed to do. (Although, being a cat, probably does all the things he's not allowed to do anyway, when nobody's home..)

Milenko is half-Manx and half common housecat. His mother is a full Manx who was caught in a raccoon trap because she was terrorizing the sheep flocks in a rural Texas town, one of those "look, but don't touch" cats. Although he is a Manx, Milenko has a full-length tail. I had a choice of different kittens from the litter, but partial tails are ugly in my opinion-- I think they look too much like a car door accident or something happened to the cat at one time.

He is a cat of extreme independence and character, and will not hesitate to tell you what's on his mind in his strange feline gibberish. Being only one generation removed from the wild, he also has an affinity for water; according to my old roommate who was taking a bath at the time, he hopped up into the tub and sat right down in the 3 inches of water at the shallow end. He also loves to play tag, running from room to room chasing (or being chased by) people.

Milenko left us on May 17, 2019 at 6:30AM. He is now pursuing his next assignment beyond the rainbow bridge. May he reign triumphant.

Due to his un-domesticated (ie: violent and terroristic) nature, he is prone to biting and clawing when he gets too excited. He once even sent me to the emergency room because of this. It may have something to do with the fact that he is not fixed yet. Click here to see the sort of damage he can inflict on soft fleshy humans (like me) when he's pissed.

This is similar to what he looks like when he's stalking you. If he actually was, he would pace around you in circles and give you that look of distance-between-fangs-and-your-neck calculation.
